Basinco Limited was formed by the main shareholders of Basinco Holdings S.A. after they decided to delist the company from the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and then to liquidate it to make way for Basinco Limited as their main investment vehicle.

Basinco Holdings S.A. was listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange from 1981 to the 15th of December 2010, when its shareholders decided to take it private and to continue their investment activities through Basinco Limited.

Basinco Limited carries on essentially the same activity as Basinco Holdings S.A. and focuses on the holding and management of its own investments.
